Hotel Droog in Amsterdam

Dutch glory Droog Design is famous and well known globally for its surprising designs. The store at the Staalstraat in Amstedam offers well-known notable furniture designs as well as small functional home accessories. However, from September 16th on, there is more. After a major renovation, Hotel Droog is added to the store; a high-end design department store offering exclusive fashion, cosmetics and furniture and even delicious snacks and drinks.

Staying at Hotel Droog

Although the Hotel Droog concept actually is the opposite of a hotel, where providing accommodation is not the motive, Hotel Droog does offer one room to stay in. This room covers the whole upper floor, including a sleeping, kitchen, bathroom and living area. Of course this exclusive room is stylishly decorated with Droog Design furniture.

Hotel Droog gallery

The Droog Design building covers up to 7000m2 with plenty of space for a gallery. A Woolmark event will take place in November, named “21 Wool masters” which is part of the first Dutch Wool Week. Top designers and Dutch Alumni will exhibit their wool designs at Droog Design.
