Since 1982 Rose’s Cantina is a well known address for the people in Amsterdam who loves cocktails and Mexican food. In December last year this famous restaurant re-opened its doors at de Reguliersdwarsstraat in Amsterdam after a major refurbishment. And ofcourse, we went by for a nice drink and a bite!
nice interior at Rose’s Cantina
The owners, Jim Dobson and Daniel Uzcudun decided to join forces with Casper Reinders to do something new with the restaurant.
The new interior of Rose’s Cantina has a Latin-like feeling, which I personally like so much! The entire restaurant is painted in beautiful green and the unique decorations and lights give this restaurant a feeling like you are in Latin America.
Pan-Americana menu
Rose’s Cantina has always been known for its Mexican cuisine. But at the re-opening they replaced the Mexican menu to dishes from North and South America. The Pan-Americana menu fits perfectly with the setting of Rose’s Cantinas interior now!
food at Rose’s Cantina
The quality of the food was nice. We ordered some ceviche and nachos which was good at taste and the soup as a starter. I wouldn’t recommend the last one cause it was a bit tasteless. But the meat was very well prepared and the dessert tasted good as well!
Definitely worth a visit when you are in Amsterdam!
