Trouw Amsterdam is a project for a limited time of period. This former publishing company has gained a new development plan as a club, restaurant and cultural platform.
Trouw was planned to be closed in 2011, but this fun, trendy, likable restaurant in Amsterdam will still remain with us for a couple of more years.
Upon entry, the industrial decor ensures a bit of an underground sensation, yet at the same time there is a very relaxed atmosphere. The setting of the tables is in a circle around to the kitchen so you can almost have a close look from your chair.
Trouw does not serve traditional starter and main dishes, but dishes in tapas portions so you can actually taste about everything. Lots of fresh vegetables and Mediterranean-oriented dishes can be combined which results in a full meal.
The service is not very efficient, but it’s very friendly. For us this is no reason to skip Trouw!
