A hidden gem if you ask us. Around the corner of ‘Waterlooplein’ in Amsterdam you will find this amazing concept store where they sell unique clothing, sneakers, books, music, magazines and art in a nice setting. Upon entry you think: “nice original shop”, but 290 Square Meters is more than that.
The store opened its doors as “90 square meters” in 2001 on “KNSM-eiland” in Amsterdam, but in 2008 relocated to their current location near ‘Waterloopplein’ and expanded with 200m² of shopping space.

In addition of being a store, 290 Square Meters is also a creative place where young designers can present their work to the consumer. Product releases, fashion and art shows are being held here on a regular basis.
