You can literally shop till you drop in Seoul! Some shops and markets are open 24 hours a day! Can you believe it?!
In Seoul you will find lots of large department stores, markets, and local boutiques with super cute and fashionable clothes. You can shop in the morning until late. Some markets open their doors even at ten o’clock in the evening and are open until ten o’clock in the morning.

If you saw a nice shirt, pants or jacket see while shopping in Seoul, look for a few more shops. Probably the neighbor sells them for half the price. Especially the underground boutiques that you see in the subway stations. They often have the same stuff for much cheaper. Why? Because everyone buys clothes at a wholesale market in Seoul. So do not immediately grab the purse at the very first coat, but look futher!
In Korea, people look super nice. Not only women but even men have a porcelain skin. Worldwide, South Korea has the highest plastic surgery rates. One of the five women had done something about their face or body. At first it was a bit shocking for us to see so many people on the street with bandage around the head, chin or whatever part of their face. But it seems very common here, so we got use to it.
But the advance about this whole “I-want-to-look-beautiful-thing” is that you will find numerous shops where you can buy so many cosmetic stuff. I’m telling you, a true paradise for us ladies! I spent many hours (and money) wandering in cosmetics stores. But it was more than worth it, because Korean Skin care products are THE BEST! And the good thing is that almost everything is TAX free for tourist like us!
