5CIJUNG CAFE is located in the trendy district of Garosu-gil. It’s one of the many franchise café’s in Seoul with a super nice interior. 5CIJUNG CAFÉ is a little bit tucked away in the side-streets of Garosugil, but you’ll immediately recognize it by their fresh frontage and open accordion-like doors. It’s the perfect place to have a drink. Believe me, their drinks are to die for!
NICE INTERIOR OF 5CIJUNG CAFE
At the entrance you’ll be friendly greeted in Korean and you’re free to choose your seat. We sat near the door, so we were able to enjoy the weather and take a peak at the trendy people of Garosu-gil, who walked by. The interior of 5CIJUNG CAFÉ is also one to fall in love with! Clean, modern, playful and romantic, those are the words that would describe this café best.
BEST JUICES AT 5CIJUNG CAFE
We ordered a delicious cafe latte and a grapefruit juice. Also, you’ll get free self-made scones if you order drinks. My grapefruit juice was terribly good! This was without exaggerating by far the best grapefruit juice that I’ve ever tried! The coffee was presented very lovely with a cute bear and it tasted pretty good!
SUPERDUPER NICE STAFF AT 5CIJUNG CAFE
After having a drink, we wanted to visit a clothing store nearby for Places we Know, but we didn’t know how to get there. And as you know many Koreans don’t speak English at all or just a very little English. Still we tried our luck and asked some friendly girls to help us. After 15 minutes communicating with hand signs and 15 drawings later, we still didn’t know how to get there. Too bad, but we did appreciate it tremendously how the girls still made such an effort to help us. When we wanted to leave 5CIJUNG CAFÉ, one of the girls suddenly insisted on bringing us to the clothing store. After 10 minutes we finally found it and we wanted to give her something as a gift. She didn’t want to take it. This really shows how nice and sweet the people in Korea are.
*Tip: 5CIJUNG CAFÉ has two branches. One in Garosu-gil and the other one in Samcheongdong. Both very nice to pay a visit to when you’re in Seoul!
