In Stockholm you’ll find an extraordinary store called Grandpa. Grandpa has three stores in Sweden, which include one in Göteborg and two in Stockholm. The first store was opened in 2003 in the trendy area SOFO in Södermalm. In 2007 they’ve added the second store, the Flagshipstore of Grandpa, which was opened in Kungsholmen. Although they are both Grandpa-stores, you definitely have to visit both of them.
Grandpa fashion & interior
Grandpa can be defined as a little department store with an interior, which feels like home. One where you can mainly buy Scandinavian and international fashion, but also where you can find special gadgets and nice vintage stuff for your own interior. Although Grandpa doesn’t like brands to be more important than the product itself, they do have their own collection with their own brand in this great store in Stockholm. It’s a collection, which they can definitely be proud of. Grandpa also finds service, inspiration and the vibe of the store really important.
Thursday night at Grandpa
The Grandpa store in Södermalm is open until 9pm every last Thursday of the month. Often you’ll find a DJ spinning records in the store and they serve nice glasses of wine to their customers.
